EDSF Establishes Memorial Scholarship to Honor Lynda Baboyian

The Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF), the international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, announced a new scholarship honoring Lynda Baboyian, wife of Mal Baboyian, president of Océ North America.
Lynda, who passed away suddenly on Aug. 20, 2011, was married to Mal for 27 years, and is survived by her son Thomas and grandchildren Grant and Grace. Lynda was active in volunteering in her community and worked tirelessly during hurricane relief efforts in Florida. The EDSF Board of Directors is pleased to be able to honor Lynda Baboyian’s legacy and the contribution of long-time industry leader Mal Baboyian with this scholarship.

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in 2012 to a full-time student committed to pursuing a career in the Document Management and Graphic Communications marketplace.
EDSF will begin accepting applications in mid-January, 2012.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA of a 4.0 scale
- Full-time student attending an accredited college or university in the Fall of 2012
- International students may apply
