Sefas' Bruno Henry: Right Place, Right Time for Transpromo

How many billboard campaigns do you notice as you flash past them on the highway? What percentage of the television commercials that you see manage to get through to you? How many magazine and newspaper ads succeed in drawing your attention away from the stories and editorial around them?
I’m not saying these media don’t work. They obviously do, to some extent. Maybe even the subliminal impact of these advertisements does affect your behavior and mine. But…
It’s a big “But…”, that one.
Most of us, most of the time, are more or less consciously trying NOT to be distracted and engaged while driving, watching TV or reading the things we choose to read. So almost all conventional advertising spends its time fighting against our will and our intentions.
That’s why transpromo or statement-based marketing works. People do open their bills and statements. So they do see our promotions.
Often they don’t want to see the bad news about how much they owe, so they’re not reading with eager anticipation. If we can provide something relevant, interesting, helpful, and positive at this time, in this situation, we are onto a winner.
I’m a believer. You can hear it when I talk. I believe we’ve only scratched the surface of what transpromo will let us do. The future is charged with possibilities.
For me, it feels like being in the right place at the right time.
As a Sefas executive I haveno doubt that Sefas is the company in this field that has the broadest vision of where we are and where we should be going. Our new products go further than ever before to bring together and integrate the different parts and stages of the document supply chain. So it’s an exciting time for me, for the company, for the industry, and for our customers. As this blog develops, I’ll let you into a few secrets about where I think we’re going. And I’ll also invite you to comment and let me know what you think about how we should be turning today’s future into tomorrow’s business reality.
